South Carolina Scores 99-51 Victory Over Purdue
No. 4/5 South Carolina women’s basketball picked up its second win in the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tipoff, taking down Purdue 99-51 on Saturday afternoon.
The Gamecocks ran away with the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Boilermakers 30-6.
South Carolina will be back in action at home on Thursday, Dec. 5 to take on No. 13 Duke in the SEC-ACC Challenge.
With the 99-51 victory, South Carolina marked a new season-high for points, highlighted by a 30-point second period, the most in a single quarter this year.
Seven Gamecocks finished in double-figures, the most since six against Kentucky last season (2/25/24).
