Badgers Take Third Place After 82-72 Victory Over Boston College
The Wisconsin women’s basketball team faced Boston College in the final game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off presented by Elevance Health. The Badgers defeated the Eagles with a score of 82-72.
This was the first meeting between both programs since the 2013-14 season.
Sania Copeland had a career day, scoring 18 points (6-13 FG, 4-10 3FG, 2-2 FT).
Wisconsin shot 53.6% (30-56) from the field range, and 45.5% (10-22) from 3-point range. The Badgers shot 92.3% from the free-throw line (12-13), the best of the season.
At the conclusion of Saturday’s games, the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off announced its Shell Division All-Tournament Team, highlighted by a pair of Marquette standouts after the Golden Eagles took home the Shell Division Crown.
